Country Strong was shown two days ago on HBO. Needless to say, I love that movie. But I think, more than the movie itself, I love the songs or the soundtrack even more. I’m in love with Garett Hedlund’s voice. Can someone please give this guy an album? I just know it’s going to be a huge hit. I don’t know but it may seem corny even. Songs put to words the very things we can never ever say. And for someone who has had a hard time all her life saying her true feelings, I kinda regret not learning how to play the piano. I regret not taking voice lessons when I had the chance. Kids these days have it better what with first-rate digital pianos and even first-rate voice coaches.
Anyway, listen to one of my fave songs in the movie. If you haven’t watched it, Leighton Meester is a revelation.
