Everyone who’s anyone and who’s a fashionista is excited about Karl Lagerfeld’s new collection which shall be launched in less than 5 hours.  In Paris, fans of the designers are taking to the streets and are eagerly awaiting Karl’s appearance in the launch.  Would he make a cameo and satisfy his Kult followers’ dream of catching a glimpse of the man himself?  We’d know soon enough.  But I’m more excited about the collection.  I think the man is brilliant having worked with the likes of Chanel and Fendi.  Would there be lots of prints in his collection or monotones or even breeches?  Would we see signature Lagerfeld or would he totally surprise us with a whole new look and direction?

Sneak Peek here.

SOPA is happening even as I write this.  SOPA stands for Stop Online Piracy Act.  So what’s my stand?  I’m totally for any anti-piracy acts and laws and copyright infringement laws whether online or offline.  It’s bad if you don’t know it yet.  What the act aims to do is to take down sites that cater to and make money out of illegal downloading of music, videos, movies, books and everything else that is being sold and marketed as true or genuine but is really just a copy or fake which includes all leather goods such as bags and shoes, clothes and even Tube Bending.  That’s just my understanding.  censorship of the free web?  Well, that’s a whole other ball game.  I don’t want any law preventing me from voicing my opinion.  But there must be more to this.  It’s such a big issue that even Wikipedia and Google are joining in to stop SOPA.

I would have to read the whole SOPA thing before I can truly make a stand.
